Who we are
Networked Intelligence for Development is a network of independent consultants and adult-learning trainers specializing in new media, information and communication technologies (ICTs), community development and sustainable environs. Our consultants have held senior positions in multilateral organizations, governmental and intergovernmental organizations, broadcasting and media institutions, research institutes and non-governmental organizations.
We provide advice and know-how on a range of human, social and economic development concerns with a particular emphasis on the strategic interests of women. Established in 1997 with a commitment to promoting economic and social equity, we work with a wide spectrum of communities at different levels in developing countries, primarily in Africa and the Caribbean.
Our mission is to harness the benefits of evolving information and communication technologies and new media, to enable people to tell their own stories, to celebrate their creativity and enable them to express their informed choices about the decisions that affect their lives and identities in the information era.
